This couldn't have been a better stay! We were in Inverness for just a short stopover on our honeymoon and this house left nothing to be wanted. The rooms were cozy and very clean. The breakfast was absolutely FANTASTIC so much array and options. Awesome local lore reviewed by the mistress of the house. A manageable walking distance from town, great restaurants and pubs around. Limited parking in the city!
Wonderful hostess , rooms very clean, breakfast is amazing from quality of food to the service. Nothing was too much trouble. We had the family suit of 3 bedrooms. Close to the city centre, Ideal spot for visiting attractions and places of interest. Would definitely recommend
We are a couple of pensioners with a small dog that stayed here for 2 nights. Our room was immaculate with plenty of room and the hosts are very friendly. The house is easy to find and has off road spaces for 3 cars so parking wasn't a problem. Inverness centre is approx 1.5 miles away and so is walkable (for evening meals/drinks) as I couldn't see a nearer pet friendly eatery. Janice the host cooks an incredible breakfast (first time we had eaten haggis) which kept us full up to evening meal. If we are up in Inverness in the future we would definitely stay again.
Such a fantastic guesthouse. Well designed and looked after. Parking is available on site. Janice, the host, looked after the family the entire time. She helped with suggestions on finding places to visit and provided reference material to help you get around. Breakfast was really nice, with different options available and helped start the day. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The city centre is only a short walk away but isn't located too near to hear all the noise associated with city centres. I stayed for 4 nights and would be happy to stay again.
We had a lovely one night stay at Furan Guest House. Spotlessly clean and comfy. Conveniently located just 15mins walk into town. If you have a car, it also has parking. Our host was lovely and welcoming and cooked an excellent breakfast. She also gave us great tips on what to do on our last day in Inverness. Overall excellent and would stay again when in Inverness.
Could not fault our stay at Furan House. Janice & Kevin are excellent, welcoming hosts and very knowledgeable of the local area. Breakfasts were superb and the room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Great location - short walk into Inverness and great for exploring the area. Huge thumbs up from us and 2 from Muffin
Janice was accomodating and full of knowledge. She was a perfect hostess and the rooms were lovely and warm. The whole house felt very homely and breakfast choices were tops! We would definitely stay here again!
